I recently started my new school, Chalmers in Gothenburg, and I'm studying to become a master of engineering in either chemistry of physics (right now I'll study both, but in about three years I'll have to choose a more narrow line of study). It's a lot of fun, but also a lot of work and a lot of new things to get used to. Since it's only my thrid week I'm still in the middle of what's called "nollning", I guess "zeroing" would be the closest translation to that. At Chalmers it means there's a lot of after school activities going on all the time, mostly because you should get to know each other better, and you also have to wear a piece of cardboard with a big 0, your name and place to write down what activities you've attended around your neck practically all the time for about four weeks (at least when you're at campus). Mostly just for fun I guess, but also so that people can see that you're new.
